Doug Gilbert, Trees for Life “Trees for Life: Rewilding Dundreggan Estate”
Trees for Life is a conservation charity whose vision is to restore the Caledonian Pine Forest in Scotland.  As they have grown, they have helped to restore many areas of the Northwest Highlands to their natural state, planting well over a million trees in the process.  One of their key reserves is Dundreggan Estate in Glen Moriston; a 10,000 acre woodland including remnants of the original Caledonian Forest, superb birch-juniper woodlands and the largest expanse of dwarf birch in Scotland.  Operations Manager Doug Gilbert will be here to tell us about some of the exciting work they’re doing across Scotland.
If you know anyone who would be interested in coming along, please pass this email on.  Also attached is an event poster.  It would be wonderful if you can share, print and post around!
Hope to see you there J
