Lochleven Seafood Cafe

Commis Chef    : 1 position available

40 hour per week with busy seasonal peaks with more hours required.

Mid-March to end October (seasonal opening)

We are looking for a keen Commis Chef who will gain great training and experience from senior chefs.  This could become a good career route into future chef work.

Duties: Food preparation, plating of starters and desert, dealing with fresh fish preparation and assisting Chefs where needed.

·      Good rate of pay with share of tips.

·      Shift work with a mix of straight and split.

·      Own transportation a must.

·      Past kitchen experience very desirable but training will be given to a competent candidate.

·      Food Hygiene certificate desirable but training can be given.

Deli & Shop Assistant     :             1 position available

40 hour per week.  Mid-March to end October (seasonal opening).  5/6 day week 9 am to 5 pm

We are looking for a person to work in our busy deli and shop.

Duties: Sole charge of seafood shop involving some cooking of shellfish, assisting in the preparation of the seafood for both kitchen and deli use.  Working with fresh shellfish from onsite tanks.  Stocking and cleaning  shop and serving customer.

·      Good hourly rate with share of tips.

·      Own transportation a must.

·      Food Hygiene certificate  desirable but training can be given.

·      Customer service experience favourable

·      Full training will be given to cover all aspects of the job.

Kitchen Porter (KP) & Cleaning  Assistant  : 2 full time and 1 part time relief cover

Mid-March to end October (seasonal opening).  Flexible shift patters available.

One position may suit person with school commitments.

We are looking to fill several positions in our busy kitchen.  Hard work will be rewarded with good hourly rates and a share of tips.

·         Own transportation a must.

·         Full training will be given to cover all aspects of the job.
