Kinlochlaich Garden Self Catering offers accommodation in the spectacular Highland landscape of Argyll on the West Coast of Scotland.

Alasdair and Fiona live nearby and are happy to welcome you. We run 2 farms in the village of Appin, Argyll, and appreciate all that our area has to offer you for your holiday here!
The West Coast has spectacular scenery.
The cottage is set in the gardens of Kinlochlaich, with a rare octagonal Walled Garden, Spring Garden, Bluebell Woodland Walk, extensive vegetable gardens and some formal gardens within the wall. Part of it is the Garden Plant Nursery Centre – which specialises in just plants and lots of them! A plant lovers paradise.
We are close to the sea, and the famous Castle Stalker, with the hills behind us, facing south- south west, catching the sun, and looking across to the Morven Hills. Glencoe is only 15 minutes away, great for walking and much more!
We have a Tennis Court, Hut with Table Tennis, and plenty of garden to sit and relax in. There are also swings, and various garden toys that can be used at your own risk.
Each Cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need. Laich Cottage has a wood burning stoves, with logs provided. Laich Cottage sits in its own sunny, private garden. It also has a Skagards Wood Fired Hot Tub!
Appin, Argyll is ideally situated between Oban and Fort William. From here, you can explore our amazing scenery by bike, foot or car. We have the Sustrans bike track within 5 minutes, and many local walks and cycle rides can be enjoyed from the Cottage.
We are close to the picturesque village of Port Appin, where the passenger ferry goes to Lismore, and to the famous Castle Stalker nestled in Loch Laich, which is a great place to catch the sunsets over the Morven Hills.
Exploring further afield you can take the ferry from Oban, and visit Staffa. Going north you are ideally situated to explore Glencoe with its eye catching mountains, the Golden Sands of Morar and many other places accessible on day trips. The West Coast of Argyll has everything you need; mountains, sea, beaches, islands and so much more!
We are sorry we are unable to take pets. We are a non-smoking property. We do weekly lets in the main season, and a minimum of 2 nights out with this. FREE WIFI! Wood fired hot tub!
