Guest House and B&B

Pier House offers contemporary Bed and Breakfast accommodation with an unrivalled aspect overlooking Loch Leven and the Pap of Glencoe. For over 265 years Pier House has stood between the mountains and the sea, directly on the shoreline of Loch Leven and within five minutes walk of the centre of Glencoe village.

With its rich heritage Glencoe can truly be considered to be the crucible of British mountaineering. The glen and the adventures that it offers are within a 10 minute journey by car.

We have been busy with renovations, but have still kept the charm and character of this lovely old building that is steeped in history. Our Garden Room is a double en-suite  ground floor room with some added luxury touches, it faces onto our garden.

We also have two first floor loch view rooms available to book from June 2018.  A further double ensuite and a king size ensuite . Availability and booking is available direct from our webpage.

Take a seat on our pew in our  large porch overlooking panoramic views of Loch Leven and the surrounding mountains. Relax here following a day of exploration; enjoy wildlife on the loch and maybe watch one of our many spectacular sunsets.

Situated between the Scottish West coast towns of Oban and Fort William,  Winter sports enthusiasts can access the Glencoe and Nevis Range ski resorts within a short drive. For paddlers, Pier House is perfectly situated, with direct access to Loch Leven – and a wealth of experience and advice in your hosts.

Those wanting peace and relaxation need do nothing more than simply step outside: breath in the fresh mountain air, absorb and marvel at the view, watch oystercatchers, sandpiper, curlew and the occasional otter feeding on our shore.
