Pre’65 Scottish Two-Day Trial

Starts
Fri 1st May 20
Ends
Sat 2nd May 20
At
Kinlochleven

This year, for the first time, entries for the event have been opened beyond the EU to riders world-wide. The event is managed by the Edinburgh & District Motor Club, a small group of enthusiasts who have run this trial since 1911.

If you’re unfamiliar with trials, this event is a spectacular sight – and smell, and sound… The beauty of trials motorbikes from the past set against the stunning backdrop Kinlochleven area is a sight to behold. The absolute skill and determination of the riders something to aspire to.

The ‘pre65’ is about the age of the bike – there are some real classics on show, so even if you aren’t interested in going out on the routes, it’s worth coming to Kinlochleven and seeing the bikes and competitors in the paddock.

Spectating at the pipeline section never disappoints – and it’s absolutely free to watch. Spectators are very welcome, but only at designated areas – it’s best to buy a programme. The club respectfully asks spectators observe the rules, any deviation could result in a loss of access to land for the trials and jeopardise the future of this longstanding and much loved event.
