There are numerous historic sites all around the area. Only a short drive to the scene of the famed Massacre of Glencoe set amidst spectacular towering mountains. The monument to the Appin Murder, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevevson’s “Kidnapped”, is situated on the hillside behind Ardno House.
