Grey Mares Waterfall

Walk Grade: Moderate, allow 35 minutes

A spectacular waterfall named by King Edward VII because it reminded him of his horse during his stay at Mamore Lodge in 1909.

Start at the Aluminium Story Visitor Centre and walk over the Main Road bridge. Turn right at 1st junction until you come to a church and Greymares Car Park. Follow the footpath and turn left follow path up the hill, down the steps, across a wooden bridge, turn left again and you will find the waterfall. Retrace your steps back to the village.
