Walk Grade: Moderate, Allow 2 hours

Walk through ancient native woodland within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Wildlife includes red squirrels, pine martins, otter, roe deer, badgers and buzzards and wild orchids which are protected.

From the Aluminium Story in Kinlochleven, walk over main road bridge and at
the notice board turn right on a tarmac path, part of the West Highland Way. Cross a wooden bridge turn right into a small forest. At the end of the path turn right onto a rough road. 100 metres along at the entrance to the rough road there is a path on your right. At the top turn right and this path will lead you to a clearing with cement bases which are still clearly visible. The majority of the camp is now covered in trees. Originally the camp started at the wooden bridge, down to the river and across the flat clearing.
