About Us

Established for over 30 years we are proud that the association was one of the first of its kind in Scotland. When it was first founded Discover Glencoe was called the Glencoe and Loch Leven Marketing Association (GLLMA).

The purpose of the association has always been to actively promote the area as a vibrant destination for holiday makers and to ensure that the Glencoe and Loch Leven area remains one of the ‘must see’ destinations on any holiday to Scotland.

In 2010 we re-branded as Discover Glencoe, by 2014 with a new website and the current website is number 3.  We strive to develop and review our activity and direction to ensure our media is up to date and user friendly.

We are here to increase the percentage of visitors that choose Discover Glencoe businesses, encouraging sustainable tourism whilst embedding ourselves in the local community.

To achieve this we focus on our digital media and social media platforms; our relationships and collaboration with others in the local and national hospitality and tourism industry community.
