The restaurant opened in 2006 and quickly gained a reputation throughout Scotland and beyond as the place to eat some  of Scotland’s finest Seafood.

Built next door to our sister shellfish dispatch centre, we have access to a large selection of west coast seafood, all held in our onsite seawater tanks, a stone’s throw away from the kitchen. You don’t get much fresher than that!

Our famous shellfish platters are a must for any shellfish lover. Alongside the shellfish menu, we have a regularly updated blackboard menu with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, not to mention desserts prepared by our team of renowned chefs.

Whether you are looking for coffee and cakes in the coffee shop or lochside terrace, a bowl of mussels, a 3 course meal or one of our famous platters, the Lochleven Seafood Cafe is a must visit for any food lover visiting the Glencoe area.

Our deli and gift shop also sells a variety of heat and eat meals, and takeaway options such as picnic boxes, as well as the very best of local produce and crafts.
